The Company

Same family.
Same standards.
Since 1956.

Bass Concrete was founded in Slidell, Louisiana by men who knew Gulf Coast concrete — the heat, the humidity, the soil that moves. Three generations later, the company is still run by the same family.

What started as a single truck and a small crew grew into a regional pour contractor certified for every class of mix the Louisiana DOTD writes. Today we handle commercial slabs, industrial foundations, state infrastructure, and residential jobs across South Louisiana and Mississippi.

We didn't get here by cutting corners. We got here by pouring on schedule, on spec, and on the budget we quoted. Honesty. Determination. Excellence. That's the standard this family set — it's the standard we keep.

What We Do

Every class of pour. One accountable contractor.

Commercial, industrial, infrastructure, residential — all in-house, all on one schedule. Builders and GCs hire us because they can call one number for work other contractors split between three.

Commercial & Industrial

Warehouse slabs, distribution centers, retail pads, industrial foundations. From 10,000 sq ft to multi-acre campuses — we've put it on the ground.

Capabilities

DOTD & Infrastructure

Certified for every Louisiana DOTD mix class. Highway, bridge, culvert, and state infrastructure work — with the documentation paperwork inspectors expect.

DOTD Work

Residential & DIY

Driveways, slabs, patios, footers. Yes — we'll deliver for the homeowner pouring a shed pad on a Saturday. Same crew, same quality, smaller ticket.

The Difference

Why GCs call us first.

There are a lot of concrete contractors on the Gulf Coast. Most were founded after Katrina. Most haven't run a DOTD job. Most will subcontract the parts they don't want to do. Here's what you get with Bass.

01 / Certifications

DOTD-certified for every mix class Louisiana writes.

When the state is the customer, the paperwork has to match the pour. We know what inspectors expect because we've been clearing their punch lists for seventy years.

02 / Crews

In-house crews. No sub-outs mid-project.

When you book Bass, you get Bass — from the estimator who bids the work to the finisher who smooths the slab. No hand-offs. No "I'll check with my sub."

03 / Promise

The quote is the quote.

Honesty. Determination. Excellence. That's been the Bass family promise for three generations — and the number we bid is still the number you pay.

We've had Bass pour on three of our Gulf South commercial builds. They show up with their own crews, their own trucks, and a schedule they actually hit. That's the whole game.
